The Better Business Bureau of southwest Missouri is warning people about phishing scams. That’s where someone calls or sends you an email requesting personal information about a bank account or credit card.
The BBB is currently working with two Springfield, MO companies, a bank and communications company who say their customers have received phishing emails and calls.
If this happens to you do not give out your username passwords, or any account information.
