I recently received an email with this subject line: Unauthorized Access case lPrlQWW and I am concerned that it could be an attempt at defrauding me. Let me know in the comments section what you think, please.

We recently have determined that different computers have tried to log on to your Online Banking account and multiple password failures were present before logons.
We now need to re-confirm your account information with us.
Please download and open the document attached to this e-mail in order to verify your records. Please follow the instructions from the document.
If this is not completed by December 20, 2014 we will be forced to suspend your account indefinitely, as it may have been used for fraudulent purposes.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a mandatory measure. Failure to verify your records will lead to permanent service suspension.
After verifying your records you will be able to use your account as usual.

I, Sharon, have the following thoughts/comments on this suspected fraudulent email message from “alerts@citibank.com”:
There is an attached .html file called Citibank.html – I strongly encourage you to NOT click on the file.
How did I know that this is a phichishing attempt? I don’t bank with Citibank.
