NATCHEZ, La. (KALB) – Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office reported the arrest of Desmond Hubley, 51, of Natchitoches on March 12.
NSPO’s IMPACT unit were reportedly patrolling Hwy 1 on Thursday at around 9:40 p.m. and pulled over a car driven by Hubley for an alleged traffic violation.
When deputies ran a background check, they learned that Hubley had been wanted by the Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office since 2020 on the following charges:
- Bank fraud
- Forgery
- Monetary instrument abuse
Hubley was arrested and booked into Natchitoches Parish Detention Center as a fugitive from Iberia Parish. He was released to IPSO on Friday.
NPSO said the car was released to a family member.
