I recently received an email with this subject line: LOAN APPROVAL LETTER and I am concerned that it could be an attempt at defrauding me. Let me know in the comments section what you think, please.

1. LOAN CONTRACT/LEGALIZATION FEE: Your loan has been approved; this
is in accordance with the financial monetary policy regulations. And a Loan
Legalization fee must be paid by the borrower to our company’s Attorney
before the approved amount is payout which will be used to acquire legal
contract documents between borrower and LENDICO S.A (PTY) LTD to back
up your loan to show that the monthly repayment will be done in due time and
this amount CANNOT be deducted from the principal approved loan amount
however it must be paid to complete the loan process. The Loan Legalization
Fee stands at the rate of ZAR3,505.00 for a loan of ZAR R30,000.00.

REASONS FOR THIS CONTRACT DOCUMENTS: It will help us to secure
the loan amount in the event of insolvency and protracted default from
redeeming the terms such in the case of death, retrenchment from operation,
bad debt and troubles arising from economic downturn or poor production.
This request was made since you provided NO COLLATERAL.
2. LOAN TRANSFER OPTION: Bank to Bank Transfer, the loan will be
transferred to you via this option and you will be required to send to us your
personal bank information where you want your approved loan fund to be
deposited into.
3. MONTLY REPAYMENT: On getting the loan, we will send to you a debit
order form which you must state the date that you want this amount debited
from your account monthly also in accordance you start the repayment of the
loan on the said date stated of every month starting beginning 30days after
approved loan amount has been transferred to the beneficiary’s account with the
monthly payment as stated above. We usually give 7-day GRACE PERIOD to
all applicants before a case of Re-payment default is instituted.
4. TIME OF DURATION: You will pay back at the rate of interest within the
stipulated time (4 Years) as stated in the terms above, Failure for you to adhere
to the agreement you will be given additional 3 months of grace before legal
actions can be taken.
5. DEBT CONSOLIDATION LOAN: Be informed that all loan approval under Debt
Consolidation Category must be used to pay up other indebtedness to previous
creditors and evidence of this must be emailed to LENDICO S.A (PTY) LTD
within One week after transfer of approved Loan Sum.

Every thing does look correct, but I am really concern that this is only a scam. Regarding this message:
