I recently received an email with this subject line: Lendico Loans and I am concerned that it could be an attempt at defrauding me. Let me know in the comments section what you think, please.

I, David, have the following thoughts/comments on this suspected fraudulent email message from “Edwin”:
I received an sms message offering a loan. The scammers are using the name of Lendico for this purpose. I attach relevant documents, telephone numbers and additional information for your verification.
They request payment of bank processing fee on approval, together with insurance premium payable to Halifax Insurance PLC.
They are using the following bank reference numbers:
