He came to know about it when he received messages on his mobile. He informed the bank officials after which his credit card was blocked. In the message, the names of the shops were also mentioned. When Khandelwal checked on the internet, he found the location of both the shops in England.
He added that he has never been to England and the credit card was also with him, and only he knew its password. Still, someone used his credit card details for shopping.
Khandelwal said that when he and his wife reached Bajaj Nagar police station to file a case on Saturday, police did not entertain his complaint, saying they did not know how to deal with such cases and that their SHO was out of station.
