Email Fraud Alert received from: Riaan
I recently received an email with this subject line: Integra Finance and I am concerned that it could be an attempt at defrauding me. Let me know in the comments section what you think, please.
The full contents of the suspected fraudulent (phishing / scamming) e-mail appear below:
Integra Finance. Need a loan? Approved and paid in 24 hours.
The above email was sent by “Dean Davids” from this email address: Loans@integrafinance.co.za
I, Riaan, have the following thoughts/comments on this suspected fraudulent email message from “Dean Davids”:
The ad says that they can give you a loan approved and paid in 24 hours. They give you landline numbers to phone which never works. Then it says to contact a guy Dean for quick service. When you call him he will take down all your details per normal process and he will ask you to.email all the documents to him. He will call you back and tell you to pay a fee of R2500 to get your contract approved. Once you pay the fee he will say he will call you back. He never does call you back and when you call him back he says there is a delay with the contract must wait. Eventually he stops answering his phone when you call him.
