Email Fraud Alert received from: Winnie
I recently received an email with this subject line: I want to book reservations. and I am concerned that it could be an attempt at defrauding me. Let me know in the comments section what you think, please.
The full contents of the suspected fraudulent (phishing / scamming) e-mail appear below:
Hello ,
I will like to make a reservation in your hotel for three guest coming on vacation,We need three single rooms.They will be Arriving on the 5th Feb 2015 to depart on the 12th Feb 2015.
If you have availability for these dates, kindly get back to me with the total cost of accommodation for the period of stay and confirm if you accept credit card for prepayment. Looking forward to hearing from you soon.

I, Winnie, have the following thoughts/comments on this suspected fraudulent email message from “Robert Coleman”:
This person has been sending the same email for years, at first we thought it was a genuine reservation but when it came to confirm the reservation we were supposed to take payments from three different credit card for accommodation, transport and airfare. we were then told that we must send the balance by western union to travel agent to make payments for tickets and other logistics.
Please who is that stupid, After that the emails keep coming like every other month sometimes it gets through sometimes it goes straight to spam.
