I recently received an email with this subject line: greetings from me, dear and I am concerned that it could be an attempt at defrauding me. Let me know in the comments section what you think, please.

I, Erica, have the following thoughts/comments on this suspected fraudulent email message from “Victoria”:
First of all my name is not Gans.
Second of all in Afrikaans a Gans is translated as a Goose.
Goose is a South African word for a woman/girlfriend
So, I presume that when you thank me for my curiosity that you are hoping that you have found a scissors sister?
