I recently received an email with this subject line: FYI: Permanent salaried position in your local area and I am concerned that it could be an attempt at defrauding me. Let me know in the comments section what you think, please.

US based startup is searching for Mail Associates. The opening requires no extensive knowledge other than elementary computer literacy and capability to process letters and dispatches.
Absolutely suitable for stay-at-home parents, retirees and also business individuals who remain in their personal office during working hours.
Job details:
– Sign for letters and parcels from USPS, UPS, Fedex at your address
– Repack letters and parcels
– Photograph the contents
– Print and assign corresponding shipping labels
– Deliver letters and parcels to appropriate US Postal Service locations
– Stay in touch with your support department through online messages, and phone
– In due course send data via website
What’s needed:
– US residence with postal address
– Must possess problem-solving and computer skills
– Be able to demonstrate self motivation and knowledge of mailing services
– Be able to move up to 30 pounds
– Valid driving license and available car
This is a stable position with a wage of up to $2,000 after tax payable monthly.

I, Phil, have the following thoughts/comments on this suspected fraudulent email message from “Claudio Shonda”:
I have literally received 15 of these messages, all from different ‘people’ and different e-mail addresses. This one is significant as it evaded all my spam filters to land in my inbox.
Who in their right mind offers jobs in such a manner.
