Email Fraud Alert received from: Nicholas
I recently received an email with this subject line: CONTACT SOUTH AFRICAN RESERVE BANK IMMEDIATELY and I am concerned that it could be an attempt at defrauding me. Let me know in the comments section what you think, please.
The full contents of the suspected fraudulent (phishing / scamming) e-mail appear below:

RE: CONTACT SOUTH AFRICAN RESERVE BANK IMMEDIATELY.
Owing to numerous complaints from many beneficiaries across the globe due to the failure of concerned financial committees/institutions set up in the past by IMF and WORLD BANK to effect the payment of their outstanding funds such as Contract Payment, Inheritance and Lottery Winning Prize Awards among others, WORLD BANK AND INTERNATIONAL MONETARY FUND have set up this team, WORLD DEBT REMITTANCE COMMITTEE to ensure that beneficiaries receive their funds without hitches.
In view of the above, your fund with reference number: WDRC/L-F/UK/0407/19 has been approved for payment and moved to our approved paying bank, South African Reserve bank for easy transfer to your bank account since you reside in Africa.
You are therefore, advised to contact South African Reserve bank for the transfer of your fund to you using the contact details below:

I, Nicholas, have the following thoughts/comments on this suspected fraudulent email message from “Jenny Barry”:
suggestion is to develop honeypots to entrap these fraudulent seamsters. Would require support and engagement from intelligence services however, I believe every aspect of civil service is easily corruptible, due to their low salaried positions and the enticement of “easy money” from criminal elements.
