Nomsa said this about the 419 emails and letters fraud:
I received a fraudulent lottery email claiming I had won a large sum of money. The email requested personal information and money for supposed processing fees. This is a classic 419 advance fee fraud scam. The email appeared legitimate but is clearly a scam attempting to extract money and personal details from victims.
