Email Fraud Alert received from: Bill
I recently received an email with this subject line: Your Paypal Account has been limited until we hear from you and I am concerned that it could be an attempt at defrauding me. Let me know in the comments section what you think, please.
Bill has the following thoughts/comments on this suspected fraudulent message:
The cold war doesn’t appear to be over!
Since when does Paypal send warning messages from a Russian domain?
And hovering over the link certainly does not go to Paypal.com!
Please people – make sure that you ONLY visit Paypal by typing the address into your browser and NOT following a link from an unsolicited e-mail.

Warning Notification
Dear PayPal Costumer,
It has come to our attention that your PayPal® account information needs to be updated as part of our continuing commitment to protect your account and to reduce the instance of fraud on our website. If you could please take 5-10 minutes out of your online experience and update your personal records you will not run into any future problems with the online service.
However, failure to update your records will result in account suspension. Please update your records before May 21, 2012.
Once you have updated your account records, your PayPal® account activity will not be interrupted and will continue as normal.
