RUSSELL TOWNSHIP, Ohio –
Traffic Complaint,
Chillicothe Road – After another motorist called in a woman’s license plate
when she failed to stop at a stop sign, drove too fast through a school zone
and drove erratically through the school parking lot 12:25 p.m. Feb. 25, police
advised her to be careful.
The license plate on her white BMW reads “Insain.”
Traffic Hazard,
Kinsman Road – While on patrol 3 p.m. Feb. 19 an officer noted the pavement
near the intersection of Hemlock Point road is lifting where a bridge meets the
pavement in both the eastbound and westbound lanes.
ODOT’s Burton Yard was notified.
Suspicion,
Chillicothe Road – Starting in January emails and purchases began arriving
at a woman’s house. She told police on Feb. 21 that the shipping information
was correct but the payment information does not match her credit cards.
She ran a credit report and there is no sign of fraudulent
activity. She called the companies and cancelled the fraudulent accounts in her
name and placed a fraud alert with her creditors.
Drug Possession, Clydesdale Trail – After finding suspected marijuana in his
daughter’s bedroom Feb. 22, a man called police. He filled out a report for
police.
Weapon Offense,
Russell Lane – While walking in Uplands Park Feb. 22, a woman heard someone
shooting in the area. She asked police to check to see if it was being done in
a safe manner.
Officers checked but were unable to find anyone shooting at
that time.
Animal Complaint, Hunting Hills – A resident called for help with a
mouse in the residential garage 8:30 p.m. Feb., 23. The mouse had left by the time
police arrived at the scene.
