I recently received an email with this subject line: we are interested in your profile picture on Facebook for Sony bill board advert and I am concerned that it could be an attempt at defrauding me. Let me know in the comments section what you think, please.

I am directed by the board of Premier Model Management Plc to inform you that we are interested in your profile picture on Facebook for Sony bill board advert,Kindly send a copy of your current pictures via email to for more details about the bill board advert.

I, Diane, have the following thoughts/comments on this suspected fraudulent email message from “PublicRelation Premiermodels”:
This was sent as a BULK MAIL and landed in my INBOX …. “Intriguing,” I thought as I wondered who would want to display my ugly mug on a billboard?
This has got to be a scam – your comments would be appreciated
