A Jim Browning video production – Thwarting scammers – Successes and Failures:
When I can manage to connect to scammer’s PCs, I will often see them running their scams. I will often warn their prospective victims and this video outlines a case where I successfully warn someone that they are being scammed, but in the second case, I wasn’t able to help and I’d like some opinions on what I could perhaps have done better.
I’d appreciate any comment you might have; perhaps I’ll be able to stop the scam better next time around.

Fraud Prevention Tip: Fully understand the offer. A legitimate seller will give you all the details about the products or services, the total price, the delivery time, the refund and cancellation policies, and the terms of any warranty. Contact the seller if any of these details are missing, if they are unable to provide the details, it may be a sign that it’s a scam.
