TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Three more people have been arrested in connection to a million dollar fraud scheme, according to court records.
Briana McCarthy is facing a litany of charges after allegedly defrauding state agencies out of $1.7 million by approving fraudulent property damage claims while she was working as a Risk Management Program Specialist for the Florida Department of Financial Services.
Now, three more people are facing fraud charges, bringing the total to nine.
Shelton Allen, Latasha Belford and Nijah Johnson were all arrested last Thursday, according to court records.
