I, Lee, have the following thoughts/comments on this suspected fraudulent email message from “UberHorny Member Services”:
Your opt out is a double negative – very sneaky AND I do not think that this play on Uber is quite the use intended for the .moe domain!
The domain name .moe is a top-level domain (TLD) in the Domain Name System of the Internet. Its name comes from the Japanese slang word moe, indicating its intended purpose in the marketing of products or services deemed moe.
What is moe?
The word “moe” (in Japanese: “??”; pronounced as “moh-ay”) is a slang word rooted deep in the Japanese Otaku culture. It has often been used to mean a particular type of “adorable” or “cute” towards fictional characters, people, animals, etc.
“Moe” is a very versatile word used to express a deep feeling or passion for something you love. Moe can be used as a noun, a verb, and even an adjective. What’s your moe?
