I was scrolling through a popular HR Channel on Telegram that caters to the scam bosses looking for talent.
The channel is called – Zhongshu HR Talent Reserve Limited Company – and hundreds of ladies and men post videos of themselves seeking to work as AI models for scam companies.
You can read about AI models in this blog. But there primary job is to be the pretty or handsome face behind the scam. They will engage in video and voice calls, and let their images be used in photos to make the scam more believable.
One Ad Stood Out – It Was “Remina”
As I scrolled through the ads’, one stood out. I recognized the woman immediately. It was an AI model that had been used to attempt to scam my mom in a Pig Butchering case two months earlier.
Two months ago, the AI model called herself “Remina” and she worked in a scam compound that I traced back to Cambodia.
Now, she had finished her year long contract and was looking for a new job, with a new company. Her asking price? $5,000 to $6,000 a month, which is a fortune in Cambodia.
