Nick Pappas has been writing the weekly Scam of the Week column since shortly after being hired as the Journal’s assistant business editor in July 2013.
Prior to moving here from New England, Nick spent 24 years at The Telegraph in Nashua, N.H., where he served at various times as business editor, city editor, editor-in-chief and the last five years as opinion page editor. He earned a number of state and regional awards during that time, including five for editorial writing.
In his spare time, he likes to read, explore new places and follow the exploits of his beloved Red Sox, Celtics, Patriots — and New York Giants. (It’s a long story.)
As new Albuquerque homeowners, Nick and his wife Susan also enjoy spending time with their nearby daughter, son-in-law and two young grandsons, Nikolaos, 3, and Andreas, 1.
