ST. CLOUD — The Stearns County commissioners have a packed agenda for their meeting on Tuesday, March 24. As a result, the schedule is expected to run from 9 a.m. until noon.
Sheriff Steve Soyka, who recently announced he is seeking reelection in November, will give a presentation on the county’s fraud prevention measures. Fraud was among the top concerns voiced by residents during the county’s “Truth in Taxation” hearing regarding the new budget in December 2025.

According to the meeting agenda, commissioners also will:
- Receive the Great River Regional Library (GRRL) annual report.
- Conduct a Human Services Board meeting.
- Receive an update on the county’s 2026 election preparation from staff.
- Discuss how to handle the coming county administrator vacancy.
