A website purporting to offering financial services including online banking has been closed down by Google Chrome as it is a phishing site, used to con people into divulging sensitive information like passwords.
The Malta Financial Services Authority earlier last week warned that SGT Malta – http://sgtmalta.net/eb/ – was not authorised or licensed by it to provide any type of financial service. It warned the public to exercise extreme caution when dealing with this entity.
