LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – Another suspect in the fraudulent petition signatures investigation has turned himself in to the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office.
The sheriff’s office said 33-year-old Sergio Lacadin turned himself in to authorities Sunday night for his alleged involvement and remains in custody. He is the seventh person arrested in the investigation.
Lacadin was originally in St. Louis, Missouri, according to the sheriff’s office.
In August, authorities arrested six people from out-of-state after thousands of fraudulent petition signatures were found on a trio of petitions aimed to get on the November ballot.
