I recently received an email with this subject line: seeking investment opportunities and I am concerned that it could be an attempt at defrauding me. Let me know in the comments section what you think, please.

My name is Walter Cohen , the principal partner at the Law offices of
Devine & Associates, a commercial law firm based in the UK. I have the
mandate of one of my clients from North Africa to confidentially seek for
a private partner in your country to assist my client with the investment
and management of a considerable amount of money which he intends to
invest.
The reason for contacting you is to explore the possibility of working
with you in this regard. My client is not entirely committed to a
particular line of business but is open to consider any line of business
you are knowledgeable in or currently involved in.
The details of my client is to remain confidential for political reasons
but will be revealed in due course if you are willing to collaborate with
me in this regard.
I expect your prompt response to this message to confirm whether you are

I wonder if Walla (a Hebrew web site offering free webmail accounts) is aware of your phishing attempt Mr Cohen. Lucky for you I don’t understand Hebrew so was unable to report your phising attempt. By the way – a good attempt as your e-mail evaded my Spam Inbox.
