GLADWIN COUNTY – A Gladwin County resident made us aware that a representative from a company called Santanna energy knocked on her door Wednesday, Feb. 13, trying to get her to switch companies. There are several complaints about Santanna Energy out there. Be aware and please inform your neighbors in case these folks come knocking on your door.
WARNING: “A woman named Crystal from Santanna Energy just came to my door. She asked to see my gas bill to make sure I was getting a good rate (or something like that). I showed her and she said that my Gas company (Ardent) was in a law suit with Santanna for fraud. She immediately started talking about switching me to Santanna. (WHAT???) I said, NO! my husband is not here to discuss it. She acted like I didnt have a choice and I needed to switch immediately! Well, I sent her on her way and called my gas company. They said no they were not in a lawsuit with anyone! I called Santanna and then I called the public service commission.”
