Email Fraud Alert received from: Harry
I recently received an email with this subject line: ‘SAFE Act’ is not enough and I am concerned that it could be an attempt at defrauding me. Let me know in the comments section what you think, please.
The full contents of the suspected fraudulent (phishing / scamming) e-mail appear below:
American Patriot,
The whole country is outraged at the refugee crisis…
Barack Obama and his cronies in and out of Washington are determined to bring tens of thousands of young men from Islamic countries – individuals without known backgrounds – into the United States over the next two years, and beyond.
That’s why we need you to take action today –
Right now, the U.S. House of Representatives is set to vote on Speaker Paul Ryan’s “SAFE Act” as an attempt to mitigate Obama’s refugee crisis.
But while the Act may seem noble, it isn’t at all what this country needs right now.
The SAFE Act is aimed at “improving” Obama’s dangerous refugee resettlement agreement with the United Nations – it is not a plan to freeze it entirely.
If you agree with me that Europe’s crisis is becoming ours, and that Congress must take bold action to protect our borders from aggressors from without, then please sign our petition today and share it with those you know.
The more we turn up the heat on Congress, the more we’ll get done.
Take action now… our security depends on it.

I, Harry, have the following thoughts/comments on this suspected fraudulent email message from “Dick Brauer, Col, (Air Commando) USAF (Ret)”:
As a South African how am I supposed to recognise any of the names or organisations mentioned in this spam e-mail.
I am too lazy to go Google and research the claimed bona fides so am relying on this community to tell me is this is a scam or not?
