Email Fraud Alert received from: Hapana
I recently received an email with this subject line: Request for Quotation and I am concerned that it could be an attempt at defrauding me. Let me know in the comments section what you think, please.

We received a call from a Mangoba Gumede, who purports to be representing the DWA purchasing dept in JHB. He sent to us a RFQ, then an order and a letter of undertaking. He seems to work in an office with other people and was very good at negotiating lead times and prices.
Of biggest worry to us is the fact that he seemed to know quite a lot about we do, he was accurate about our previous tender applications with the DWA, he has all our details as we submitted them to DWA office in PTA, our contact details, our bank details and all our company information.
Manqoba Gumede works with someone who calls themselves Gabriel Sibeko. They use emails like manqoba.gumede@wateraffairsjhb.co.za procurements@wateraffairsjhb.co.za
The domain wateraffairsjhb.co.za is registered with one thompsongates48@gmail.com and registrant is Vusi Chauke.
On checking with the DWA everything was a SCAM. To make matters worse the people inside the DWA who are on their fraud squad and in their finance department are the ones behind the SCAM. Please check with the government departments physically in person for an y sort of orders.
