Residents should be aware of Internet scams that claim to raise funds for the victims of the recent Boston Marathon bombings.
Hundreds of Internet domain names have been registered in an effort to collect money from the public on behalf of the victims.
Some of those registered domains will take advantage of people’s good will by committing fraud. Multiple fake charities have been created.
