LEESBURG, Va.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–PhishMe, a global provider of phishing defense solutions for the
enterprise, has announced that registration is open for its inaugural
phishing defense summit and user conference, called PhishMe
Submerge. This first-of-its-kind event, which is taking place Sept.
28-29 in Orlando, FL, will bring together industry experts with
practitioners who are on the front lines to discuss the security threat
landscape and share phishing defense strategies. Featured speakers will
include Grady Summers, CTO of FireEye
as the opening keynote speaker, along with PhishMe’s Co-Founders, Rohyt
Belani, CEO, and Aaron Higbee, CTO.
“PhishMe Submerge has been a goal of ours that we have finally
realized,” said Rohyt Belani, CEO and Co-Founder of PhishMe. “With over
900 customers focused on phishing defenses, we wanted to gather their
collective experience in combating the most prevalent and damaging
attack method. For the first time, our customers can come together to
learn and gain insights from each other, as well as share their
experiences with non-customers. We are keeping the event open to the
public as the entire industry can benefit from this information, helping
to educate others on the best practices and lessons learned of those in
the trenches of real-life scenarios.”
Open to both PhishMe customers and non-customers, PhishMe Submerge will
give attendees the opportunity to learn from industry experts, while
networking with peers and other PhishMe users from all over the world.
It will offer two different speaker tracks for attendees: one focusing
on how-to tips and hands-on sessions, and one covering prevalent
threats, breaking news and trends from industry experts. The sessions
also will cover best practices, case studies, and instructions on the
most current and important aspects of cybersecurity, including the
latest phishing and ransomware threats, incident response, malware
analysis, etc.
“With the majority of breaches resulting from a successful phishing
attempt, it is important for the industry to come together and discuss
the latest threats and strategies for defending against them,” said
Grady Summers, senior vice president and chief technology officer of
FireEye. “I’m excited to help advance this discussion and provide
security professionals with new ideas and resources at the PhishMe
Submerge conference.”
Registration for the PhishMe Submerge Phishing Defense Summit and User
Conference is open with early bird discounts available until August 15.
Those interested in submitting a speaker proposal can send an abstract
on the PhishMe
Submerge site.
