MEMPHIS, Tenn. — First Tennessee customers are urged to be careful after a new phishing scheme was reported to the company.
According to the bank, several of its customers were targeted through social media platforms and text messages.
It’s all an attempt to get sensitive information like your username, password, and Social Security number among other things.
If you receive one of these messages, you are urged not to click on the link or provide any sensitive information.
It would also be a good idea to change your username and password associated with your account(s) as soon as possible through the real First Tennessee Bank.
