Former HICFG chairman joins legal services provider
Simon Winnard, a former chair of the Health Insurance Counter Fraud Group, has joined Keoghs, the provider of claims-related legal services to the insurance sector.
With 20 years experience in both the private and public sector health provider arena, Winnard takes on the newly-created position of director of healthcare fraud at the Bolton-based firm.
Healthcare fraud in the UK is estimated to cost the NHS between £3bn and £5bn, and private medical insurers between £280m and £420m.
