Napa police recently arrested a Glen Ellen resident accused of a construction fraud scheme believed to have taken place in Napa County and possibly elsewhere in Northern California.
Christina Daniels conducted residential contractor business as Lone Wolf Designs and LW Design Build, despite allegedly never holding a valid contractor’s license, a Napa police news release said.
Authorities began investigating Daniels after a major residential remodel project in 2024 and 2025 led to “work that was sub-standard, not completed by licensed contractors, or not done” after residents paid her $478,300, according to court documents.
“Evidence shows Daniels diverted project funds to other jobs, over billed for materials, failed to provide required change orders, substituted unlicensed labor and forged the victim’s signatures on city of Napa permit documents,” according to a police arrest…
