Imagine walking outside to find food and gifts falling from the rooftops of your neighbors. No, it isn’t “Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs,” it’s an actual holiday called Grab Day.
The Agua Caliente Cultural Museum will put on a special screening of the documentary “Grab” on March 21 at 7:30 PM at Camelot Theatres in Palm Springs. The film follows the 300-year-old Native American tradition held in New Mexico and how three families prepare for it. The tagline at the end of the film’s trailer says “Indian Giver Redefined.”
Actress Parker Posey narrates the film.
The screening is open to the public and is free.
