OMAHA — Mosaic announced Wednesday that client information had been taken in an email phishing scam.
According to a press release, Mosaic discovered on Oct. 16 that an employee who had fallen victim to the scam had client information in the employee’s email. During its investigation, Mosaic discovered that other Mosaic employees had been deceived by a similar scam and contacted law enforcement. All affected email accounts, including some of Mosaic employees at Axtell, were secured and passwords were changed.
