BISMARCK, N.D. (KFYR) – A Mandan woman who has pleaded guilty to medical insurance fraud is now being accused of stealing from one of her previous jobs.
Fifty-eight-year-old Tammy Urness worked at the Bismarck Moose Lodge, where staff members noticed missing money. Prosecutors say security footage shows her taking about $700 of money in a bag.
Urness just pleaded guilty in a separate case. A judge sentenced her to a month behind bars for defrauding an insurance company.
Prosecutors say she filed false claims with Aflac for medical and chiropractic services she never received.
