MADISON, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – Madison police announced that a license plate reader helped them track down a suspect in a large fraud case.
Officers arrested 46?year?old Brandy Scholl at a home in Madison, then found a stolen car, meth, oxycontin, printers, blank and fake checks, and forged driver’s licenses.
Investigators said the materials contain personal information for about 30 victims.
Scholl now faces drug, theft, forgery, and identity theft charges.
