On 29 June 2026, the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) issued a press release warning the public to exercise caution when conducting financial services business with Mr Kobus Venter and Kobus Venter Wealth Planning.
The FSCA reiterates the warning but points out that the warning does not relate to Mr Kobus Venter, a Representative of Citadel Global (Pty) Ltd (FSP 37277). Any similarity in name should not be interpreted as indicating a connection between the two individuals. Citadel Global is a regulated financial service provider and is not under investigation.
The FSCA confirms that it’s warning only relates to Mr Kobus Venter of Kobus Venter Wealth Planning and no other individual with a similar name is implicated.

The FSCA received information that Mr Kobus Venter and Kobus Venter Wealth Planning are soliciting funds from members of the public for trading purposes. The FSCA confirms that Mr Kobus Venter of Kobus Venter Wealth Planning is not authorised to provide financial services to members of the public.
