WASHINGTON – The Senate Judiciary Committee today advanced the following nominations:
- Colin McDonald, to be an Assistant Attorney General, by a vote of 12-10;
- James Bishop, to be United States Attorney for the Middle District of North Carolina, by a vote of 12-10;
- Brian Barber, to be United States Marshal for the Western District of Louisiana, by a vote of 12-10;
- Steven Lewis, to be United States Marshal for the Eastern District of Missouri, by a vote of 17-5; and
- Priscilla Lopez, to be United States Marshal for the Southern District of Florida, by a vote of 18-4.
