Indiana University recently tested about 1,000 tech employees to see if they would fall prey to an email phishing attack. More than 100 of them did.
According to Von Welch, director of IU’s Center for Applied Cybersecurity Research, phishing attacks usually involve an email requesting personal information from someone and pretending to be from a company, such as bank.
