NORTHERN CAPE – Mutlwaneng Lydia Seotsa (33) was found guilty by Kimberly Magistrate court for fraud and money laundering on Thursday, 27 January 2022.
Lydia was elected as a member of School Governing Body at Retlamelang Special School, she was then seconded as the school’s bank signatory. She electronically transferred money from the School‘s account to her private account. The School suffered a loss of R460 540-00. The court sentenced her to a five years direct imprisonment.
