Former Kentucky guard Kerr Kriisa has been arrested by the FBI in connection with an alleged multimillion-dollar fraud scheme, Jack Pilgrim of Kentucky Sports Radio reported Saturday. The investigation is tied to his time at West Virginia during the 2023-24 season. The 25-year-old is being held at the Fayette County Detention Center and is expected to be extradited to West Virginia, where a court hearing is scheduled for next week.
The reported allegations date back to Kriisa’s only season with the Mountaineers before he joined the Wildcats for the 2024-25 campaign. No additional details about the alleged fraud scheme have been released.
