On 28/07/2026 Brian reported this fraudulent activity: Financial investment fraud
When asked if the incident has been reported, Brian said: “Yes”
Brian indicated that the incident has been reported to the: FSCA
Brian said this about the Financial investment fraud fraud:
A Telegram group called SEI Investments added me to their group without my permission.
I enquired what their Financial Services Conduct Authority number was and was told ‘13186’.
Cross referencing that on the official FSCA web site turned up that they were NOT registered.
I subsequently reported the group to the FSCA and the group was taken down

If you have been contacted by a Telegram group claiming to be SEI Investments or its CEO, Ryan Hicke (who seems to change his name at will), please be aware that this is a known impersonation scam. Fraudulent groups often use the names and logos of legitimate companies to lure people into “get-rich-quick” schemes.
