I recently received an email with this subject line: CR Application and I am concerned that it could be an attempt at defrauding me. Let me know in the comments section what you think, please.

After researching a list of suppliers of Office Equipment recently, I noted that your company offers these type of products. I am interested in a supplier business relationship with you.
Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Douglas Dlamini, the marketing director of Sandvik Mining RSA (PTY) LTD. Our Organisation is well known locally and internationally as a high-tech and global engineering Group with about 43,000 employees . Over the past 24 years, we have built our solid reputation on the quality of the products, services and programs we offer. I, Eric, have the following thoughts/comments on this suspected fraudulent email message from “Douglas Dlamini”:
We’ve been defrauded goods valued at R100,00.00 by fraudsters posing as Sandvik Mining RSA (Pty) Ltd officials, please be aware of the following telephone numbers: 0114672160/2. The fraudsters will apply for a terms account using the company’s documents, once the order is delivered they disappear without a trace, they’ve defrauded a number of companies around Gauteng Province.
A private investigate has since been hired to trace the fraudsters as police couldn’t make an arrest, nothing has materialized to date and the fraudsters are still attempting to defraud other companies. They change their cellphone numbers and email addresses once their mission is executed, only the telephone number will remain ringing without an answer.
