PARAGOULD, Ark. (KAIT) – A contractor with a history of fraud charges was arrested in Paragould this week on a similar accusation after a victim said he took a $23,750 down payment and never started the job.
Greene County District Court Judge Curtis Hitt found probable cause to charge Terry Hammett, 49, with theft of property, a Class C felony. He is being held on a $23,750 cash-only bond.
