I recently received an email with this subject line: Congratulation Your Email Address Has Won BMW Car And Check and I am concerned that it could be an attempt at defrauding me. Let me know in the comments section what you think, please.

This is to inform you that you have been selected for a prize of a brand new 2015/2016 model BMW 5 series car and check of $1,500,000.00 USD from the international balloting programs held on the 2nd section in the United State of America.

I, Jodie, have the following thoughts/comments on this suspected fraudulent email message from “Stephenpaulbmwoffice@gmail.com”:
I received several email, text and phone calls asking me about the money and when I would be able to send it. After researching on-line, I was convinced the email was a scam. These folks did not give up.
