A woman from Chino Hills who was being investigated for an assault was arrested on a slew of other charges as well following an investigation into her.
San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department officials said Tuesday morning that the investigation into Yvonne Vasquez began on April 4 when deputies from the Chino Hills station responded to a reported assault with a deadly weapon involving a woman trying to stab someone with a knife in the 3100 block of Chino Hills Parkway.
When the deputies arrived, they were contacted by the victim as the suspect, positively identified as Vasquez, fled the area. It was later discovered she was in possession of a stolen Jeep Grand Cherokee, SBSD said.
