Email Fraud Alert received from: Tito
I recently received an email with this subject line: CHANGE OF ACCOUNT and I am concerned that it could be an attempt at defrauding me. Let me know in the comments section what you think, please.

CHANGE OF BENEFICIARY
In our office today, was a present of One Mr. John T. Kehoe of Cnr. Wimbledon and Skool Street Blackheath 8798, CAPE TOWN filing application contrary to your pending fund transfer. The above mentioned person visited this Bank Last week with a power of attorney given in his favor by your good self, granting him the benefit to process and claims your inheritance fund for personal reasons. He further stated that the online account will be terminated while the fund should be wired to his Account in United State.

I, Tito, have the following thoughts/comments on this suspected fraudulent email message from “SOUTH AFRICA RESERVE BANK”:
One would think that the Governor of the Reserve Bank would have her own personal e-mail address and not a generic one like test@m-m-d.dk.
The SA Reserve Bank is NOT a commercial bank so anyone who falls for this phishing scam deserves to be spanked, hard, on the bum, until they learn.
