Email Fraud Alert received from: Happy
I recently received an email with this subject line: CapitecBank Payment Notice and I am concerned that it could be an attempt at defrauding me. Let me know in the comments section what you think, please.
Happy has the following thoughts/comments on this suspected fraudulent message:
In the first place Capitec Bank requires a random code from a random code generator before you can access your account.
In the second place when hovering over the ‘click here to login’ link you provided it shows a link to some janky web site.
You are gonna have to do more to catch this happy Capitec Client!
I suppose Capitec Bank must now feel proud that they have penetrated the market so well to catch the attention of phishers?
