Email Fraud Alert received from: Freda
I recently received an email with this subject line: Bill Collector Service and I am concerned that it could be an attempt at defrauding me. Let me know in the comments section what you think, please.
Freda has the following thoughts/comments on this suspected fraudulent message:
You offer me $400.00 a week. Your name is not the same as your email address. You insult me by calling me ‘Recipient’. You use a free address domain.
Even if your offer was genuine and not an attempt to gain personal information I still would not respond based on your poor command of the English language, ‘John’.
The full contents of the e-mail appear below:
Dear Representative,
I run a small bill collection service provider as an independent contractor and would like to expand so I can provide effective recovery services to my clients.
I am looking for someone that is willing to work with me as my business partner in Bill’s Collection and Debt Recovery service.
This will also broaden your horizons in learning different things ,I am offering a weekly payment of $400 for the Bill’s Collection and Fast Debt Recovery service.
