I, Lucas, have the following thoughts/comments on this suspected fraudulent email message from “myaddress@mydomain.com”:
I have reflected the “myaddress@mydomain.com” email to indicate that this email (in fact a whole number of them from some of my many email addresses) was reflected as coming from AND addressed to my various email addresses – this is a spoofing phishing attempt that shows no class.
This email originated from a server in Peru with the following IP: 190.42.121.158 so it cannot be coming from my server in the USA, even although it has uses ‘my email addresses’. Project Honeypot – https://www.projecthoneypot.org/ip_190.42.121.234 reports the IP as clean for the last three months but this IP has been used in the past for spam/phishing/spoofing.
